This release highlights Everlaw's Instant Search featuring Instant Search Preview.
1. Instant Search Interface
This search interface now features an intuitive drag-and-drop Query Builder.
To edit a term, click on it. To save a search term, hit the Enter key or click away. You can construct complicated nested queries with ease. For instance, this is the query "All documents sent in 2011, From Mark or Jen, and To Mark or Jen":
You can switch an AND container to an OR container, and vice-versa, by double-clicking on its bar:
You can copy a term by dragging it to a new location while holding the Ctrl key. A new term will appear with the same information as the original term. You can copy the logical AND and OR containers in the same way by dragging on their bars; all of their contained terms will be copied as well.
2. Instant Search Preview
As you create a search, ten sample results are shown in a mini-review table at the bottom of the page.
These results continuously update as you add new terms to the query builder.
When you finish constructing you search query, click the "Show Results" button at the bottom of your query.
To return to the search page to refine your search or create a new one, click the Refine button. You can hide the search preview by clicking on its gray menu bar; click on it again to show it. You may also begin review immediately from the Instant Search preview. Click on one of the documents as you would in the review table; that document will open and be set as the current document in your review.
3. Review History
You can now view each document's review history. Click on the review history icon in the toolbar to display the review history pane.
The document's view, rating, tag, and code histories are all visible.
