It’s here! One of our biggest releases of the year is focused on one huge new feature. We’ve worked hard to bring it to life, and we think you’re going to love it!
You’re already familiar with StoryBuilder® Outlines, which you can use to associate interesting documents with the relevant points you want to raise in the context of a deposition, motion, etc. But how do you curate those interesting documents?
Today, we’re introducing StoryBuilder® Chronology. Using Chronology, review teams can collaboratively curate the top 0.1–1% of documents across a case. Each document entry in the Chronology can be labeled and annotated with a description and an explanation of relevance. Chronology also features a useful Events view, so you can see documents in relation to a timeline of events in the case.
You can easily add documents to the Chronology through the review window as part of your review workflow. Simultaneous review and chronology-building saves you the need to conduct these processes separately, and ensures that any vital learnings and notes you take during review are transferred to the next step in litigation.
Chronology and Outlines work together. While the Chronology serves as the repository for the most important documents in your case, Outlines allow you to weave these documents into the narrative of a particular deposition, motion, etc. And now you can access the collective wisdom you’ve gathered around each document in the Chronology directly from each associated outline, including the description, relevancy annotations, and Chronology labels.
Just as with Outlines, Chronologies are fully collaborative. Share a Chronology with view-only or edit permissions to involve your colleagues in your storytelling, and see their changes reflected in your view in real time.
