US Release Date: 27 April 2018
Anticipated EU/AUS/CA release date: 4 May 2018
This release features the introduction of file path explorer and a host of exciting improvements to recently released features (data visualizer and homepage folders). In addition to these features, you can now specify which produced version of your documents to display in StoryBuilder. You can also now search by date and time. Read on for more details!
File Path Explorer
With file path explorer, located in the context panel, you can explore documents within their file structure. Did you find a responsive document? With just a few clicks, you can look at other documents belonging to the same custodian or located within the same subfolder of the dataset.
To access, click on the folder icon in the context panel. This icon will appear by default for documents without attachments. For documents with attachments, you can access the explorer feature by clicking on the attachments icon. Then, click on the navigation bar or the up arrow at the top of the panel to navigate to parent directories and explore their contents.
Additionally, we have added a File Path search term, making it even easier to find related documents. You can click File Path, which is a green search term under "Document", and add it to the query builder.
Check out these articles on searching documents by file path and the context panel for more information.
Produced Versions in StoryBuilder
Ever wish your documents in StoryBuilder could be updated to reflect their produced versions? Documents in Chronologies or Outlines can now be replaced by their produced versions using StoryBuilder’s versions tool. This enables users to see the most recent versions of documents in the Chronology, even if the documents were added before being produced.
To read more about the StoryBuilder versions tool, please read our support article.
Date and Time Search
You can now search by date, time, and timezones, instead of just by date. In the Metadata search term, select any of the date metadata fields in the dropdown (such as Date, Date Created, etc.). Then, you can choose to search by Date only, Date and Time, Time only, and No Date/Time.
For more information visit our support article on searching metadata.
[Organization Administrators] Remove Users from Organization
You can now remove users from an organization. This will remove the user from all projects they are on within that organization. They will continue to exist in the system and continue to be on any projects outside of the organization from which they were removed. Organization administrators will not be able to remove other organization administrators. You can reach out to support@everlaw.com for this request.

Data Visualizer Improvement: Launch Specific Page from Results Table
It is now easier to use data visualizer! From the results table, you can navigate directly to the pages that you care about. Click the down arrow at the top of the column you’d like to view, and select Visualize. This will bring you to the corresponding section of data visualizer. Note that the Visualize option does not appear for columns that do not exist as data visualizer properties (such as num pages, billable size, etc).

Homepage Folder Improvements
We are releasing three improvements to a recently released feature, homepage folders!
With homepage folders, you can now:
- By default, view the expanded card type if the folder contains only one category of card.
- Hide folders by dragging and dropping them below a line
- Within a shared folder, click the message icon to conveniently message all users who have access to the shared folder
Please see this article on how to use homepage folders.
