Data visualizer dashboard

You can now build a custom view for your data visualizer. With this release, you can pin your favorite visualizations from across filters into a single view. This way, you can always see the information you care about most.

Automated redaction inclusion for native productions

Previously, a native-only production could not include image redactions. Now, when excluding images from your production, documents with image redactions can still be produced in image format to prevent sensitive data from being exposed.

Cloud transfer optimization

Large transfers from a cloud source now run up to four times faster. Now, uploads from cloud storage apps like Box, Sharepoint, and OneDrive are multi-threaded, which means that multiple parts of a large upload will be run at the same time.

Define specific language OCR upon uploading and reprocessing

When uploading or reprocessing documents, you can now select a specific language for OCR detection. By default, Everlaw already autodetects Latin-alphabet languages (such as Italian or French), as well as Chinese, Korean, and Japanese (CJK) for OCR. Now, you can choose to OCR a specific language via a dropdown menu. This is intended to improve OCR quality, specifically for non-Latin and non-CJK languages, like Arabic or Russian.

Clarifying document numbering (Bates/Control #)

Document IDs will now be listed as Bates/Control #s. Previously on Everlaw, all document IDs were shown under the Bates header although Everlaw processing created control (#) numbering that is not strictly a Bates number. All references to these IDs will now be listed as Bates/Control #s to minimize confusion for users; common locations for these references include the results table and the search page.

Adjusted the single-PDF cap for ZIP exports

Previously, there was a 2 GB cap for single PDFs within a ZIP export. If you were exporting a project that had a really large PDF, that ZIP export would fail. Now, the single PDF limit for ZIP exports has been adjusted to allow for much larger files. This improves the capabilities of project exporting.

[Organization Admin] Automatic retries for processed document upload connection errors

For organizations who are uploading their own processed data Everlaw will now try to reestablish a connection when it is dropped during processed uploads. This will allow uploads to continue over longer periods, e.g. overnight, without monitoring from a user.
