Now, you can directly copy work product from one project to another with just a few clicks! You can also now export suspended projects, transcribe Spanish audio, and much more.

Copy work product between projects
Project administrators can now directly copy work product from one project to another within the same database. For example, when your experts are using a partial project for review, you can quickly bring that review work back to the original project to share with the broader case team.
To do so, bring up documents with work product you’d like to copy in a results table. Then, click on Batch Actions to batch add your work product to another project.

Decimal support in Bates and control number searches
Bates searching is now more flexible and easy to use. If a document has decimal pagination and is displayed as #1.1, you can type #1.1, including the decimal page number,to bring up that document directly. You no longer have to type #1 to get #1.1.
What’s more, a search for Bates 1.1 will return both a document with the control number #1 (displayed as document #1.1) and a document with the rolling Bates number 001.001. To learn more about Everlaw Bates search functionality, click here.
Delete database button deleting all projects
You can now easily delete your database if you have database administration permissions, making it simple to close down your case. This is accessible from the Database Settings page.

Auto-convert Australian DocID references in Storybuilder
Last release, we introduced a much more convenient workflow of adding documents to Drafts and Depositions letting you simply type the Bates number to have it auto-converted into a document reference. We’ve now introduced support for Australian Document IDs as well.

Support for decrypting S/MIME emails
You can now decrypt Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME) emails with the necessary private keys. Just select Advanced Settings during a native upload or navigate to the Advanced Settings tab on the Uploads page. At the bottom of the page, add a new decryption key by clicking on the button shown below.
Once the keys are stored on Everlaw, complete your native upload or reprocess your documents and the emails will automatically be decrypted! Learn more about Advanced Upload settings here.
Has OCR metadata field created on production
You can now indicate in a production load file whether documents have been OCRed.
To use this field, select the “Has OCR” field during the “Load File Metadata Fields” step of the production wizard. This field will be set to “Yes” for documents with text generated by OCR.

Spanish audio transcription
You can now transcribe Spanish language audio and video files! You can reprocess Spanish files by clicking Batch, then Reprocess in the Results Table. Then select “Spanish” as the OCR language in Advanced Settings. You can also transcribe Spanish audio/video files on upload as long as your upload does not contain documents that require OCR processing in another language.

[Organization Administrators, Processed Uploads] Improvements to processed uploads
We have made several improvements to the processed uploading page to make it more readable!
Processed uploads will now be shown as cards, like native uploads and productions. Upload cards will continue to have the same information as before. The upload cards will provide an indication of progress for uploads that are in progress. Clicking the View Results button will take you to the summary screen of the upload.
We have also improved the filtering capabilities for uploads, allowing you to filter on database name, upload name, status of upload, and date completed.
In addition, when uploading data using a load file, all errors will now display at once, as shown below.
Finally, when creating a new processed upload, you will be brought to a new browser tab to configure your upload and upload the documents. The steps to upload documents have not changed. Learn more about uploading Processed Data here.
