Download the Document

To download the document, click the download icon. If you want to select different file types for download (e.g., PDFs, native files), click the caret icon and choose from the drop-down list.

The PDF and text file will always download with the Bates/Control # as the filename. The native file will always download with its original (native) filename.

To download PDF files with annotations (redactions, notes, and highlights), you can configure PDF options by clicking on the caret icon next to the download icon and choosing "Configure PDF options" from the dropdown. Select the slipsheets you want included, click "Save," and the configuration you set will be applied to the download.

If you attempt to download a file that has been marked potentially malicious, you will receive a pop-up notifying you that the document has been flagged. You may choose to download or not download the potentially malicious file.

Print the Document

To print the document to your local printer, click the print icon. To first configure your print settings to include a metadata table, Bates stamps and separator pages, or notes and highlights, click the caret icon and choose "Configure print options."

When you print, you can choose to print the whole document or the current page you are viewing. 

If you attempt to print a document that the platform has flagged as potentially malicious, you will receive a pop-up warning you that the document has been flagged. You may choose to proceed or not proceed with printing the document.

Share the Document

To share the document with others on your team, click the share icon:

The share menu will appear, allowing you to specify who you want to share the document with, and attach an optional note. Recipients will receive a message in their Everlaw message center with the document attached. By default, they will also receive an email notifying them that they received a message through Everlaw.
