User-facing features in this release:

Comment on selected text in Storybuilder Drafts and Depositions

For Storybuilder users: Storybuilder Drafts and Depositions now support inline comments on selected text. This gives teams a built-in way to review and refine work product in context, so feedback can be handled directly in the draft instead of being split across email, chat, or offline notes. You can add, reply to, resolve, reopen, edit, delete, and navigate comments directly in the editor, with a dedicated comments panel for reviewing open and resolved threads.

Text Selection added to quick review windows

Storybuilder Quick Review and the results table Quick Review windows now support text selection for documents that have extracted text. This allows you to select text directly in Quick Review to copy text with or without a citation, without opening the full review window. 

Legal holds matter activity tab

For Organization Admins and Legal Holds Organization Admins: Each legal holds matter now has an activity tab that tracks activity across all the hold notices and data preservations within it. This combines the activity that was already tracked for each individual hold notice and data preservation into one view.

Partial PII redaction available for spreadsheets in the review window

You can now use Everlaw's partial PII redaction tools while redacting Hit Highlights of native spreadsheets in the review window. This functionality already exists for other document types redacted in their PDF/Image view, and was recently released for spreadsheets redacted via batch action. This improvement brings parity and consistency to your redaction efforts, and should make spreadsheet redaction more straightforward for reviewers.

Set All Documents view as the first project visit landing page

Project Admins can now set the All Documents view as the landing page for users accessing the project for the first time. The All Documents view is a results table that lists all documents, from which you can filter to specific binders or based on other document criteria. When set, a user is taken straight to where all the documents are, which lets them start working right away. In later logins, once they have started creating work product, they will land on the homepage to access that work product.

Filter assignments from the results tables and Data Visualizer

This update adds filtering controls to the Assignments column in results tables so review managers can narrow results by assignment group and individual assignments without leaving the page. Assignments are also available in Data Visualizer, so the same review history can be analyzed in charts and visual breakdowns. For teams that use assignments to manage multi-stage review, this lets them examine where documents have been in the workflow and refine a results set based on assignment history directly from the table.

View OAuth2 access event activity

Organization and project analytics now show when tracked activity happened through an OAuth2 client instead of directly in Everlaw. This gives admins more audit visibility into third-party access without changing the underlying user permissions.

New events tracked in Organization User Access History

The following events are now tracked in the Organization home > User Access History tab:

  • Legal hold creation, edits, renames, and deletion
  • Questionnaire creation and edits
  • Matter creation, promotion, renaming, and active/inactive status changes
  • Matter access changes, including granting or removing access and toggling Org Admin access
